Hi Vijay

My bro-in-law is a good builder. He's refitted my bathroom, kitchen and extended my garage.

He used to be a site manager for Laing and Crest building new executive houses. He's not too expensive either!

PM me if you want his details...

Hello guys,

I'm building my own garage and need to know about the damp proof course in the floor. I'm putting a DPC membrane in the concrete floor and need to know if the floor height has to be above or below the DPC in the wall and by how much............

Cheers

Vijay

DPC in a wall should be the same height as the internal floor level ideally. If your doing a sub floor and a top floor screed in the garage then the DPC in concrete can be same height as the DPC in outside wall.

Cheers
