Hi all just checked ot thr site link below a dealer in Jap parts , ther are a lot of zed parts listed if anyone needs bitz could be worthy of a bookmark at least.Also they calim to have a data log of jap car vin numbers and will check any free of charge...I have entered mine so we will see eh ...........whats that love? how many feds outside!!! oh sh?t

I think all they information they claim to provide and more, is already available from within the VIN plate, with the exception of the manufacturing date. But I thought I'd try them out anyway. Will let y'all know.

Suggestions for Potential Valved Exhaust

There aren’t any available on the market so you’ll have to go down the custom route. Not sure if you’ve come across automotive YouTube channels but the Autoalex group of channels all use this firm called Richs Fabrication Shop in Garford, Oxfordshire. They’ve done a few valved exhausts on their cars from Merc CL600’s to Landcruisers I seem to remember. The welding appears top notch, the valve was operated by a Bluetooth fob on the keychain so really convenient. Could probably get it mounted in the interior if easier.

Moving on to the air conditioning.
This felt like it took me an age to get the pipe work back in, never seen such a complicated setup of pipes.
think i've managed to get them all in place however i've discovered that the aircon evaporator is bent and i cant get it to bolt back in on one side.

I'm now looking out for options to retrofit a newer aircon system.

Tyre size recommendations

I have some after market wheels on my Zed and all the tyres have perished so before it goes for its MOT at the end of the month im looking for new tyres.
The wheels are 17" and are staggered, with a 9.5j at the rear and 8j at the front.
The current tyres on the rear are 255/40/17 and a 235/40/17 on the front.

Now ive only been able to find one tyre at 235/40/17 so I want to change so I can get a decent brand, but which way do I go.
I dont want stretched look, I want a nice flat side wall look so thinking of a 245, but would this be too chunky.
The other question is if I go up a size on the front, should I also then go up on the back? Or will it not matter?
Any help would be gratefully received!

MOT time again

Last year went by very quick, my zed was also due this month, it's first MOT in my ownership.
Thankfully passed, slight oil leak as well (I have been keeping an eye on). Unfortunately some corrosion underneath too which will need sorting.
Hoping to make the trip down to Powerzed in the near future to get the car checked properly and prepped for a good year of driving and enjoying the beast.
