Sureley we have a solicitor, or someone who knows one on here, if so i need a coulpe of bits of advice.

 

1) My offer of fixed penalty has come through for my speeding (39 in a 30). I have the photo evedence which shows 2 pictures taken 2 seconds apart. On the first my registration is clearly readable but on the second it isnt. Anyone know where I stand on this?

 

2) I got a parking fine from CP plus at a hospital, only £15 but its more the principal, i parked behind other unticketed cars one of which was a CP plus van, yet only my car was targeted. Luckily i have a disposable camera in the car so I took pics of them etc. Anyway I wrote them a letter and they replied this morning telling me ive still got to pay.

Anyway, the question I have with this is do these firms really have the power to take you to court???? Or do they just scare people who know no better into paying?

Interesting point two since the *******s normally clamp you. My tendancy would be to tell them to bugger off, but don;t hold me to it.

 

A tad sensitive about this issue since my wife got the only ticket in a string of about 5 to 6 cars when she stopped to let my kid have a dump at a public toilet. Strangly our car was the only one with a "D" for Germany sticker in the back window. Racist Ealing *******s! Next time we'll let him crap on the road since the fine for not cleaning up dog shit is less than a parking fine :mad:

If you think the parking fine was unjust and can back up your argument, tell the Bas***ds you intend to challenge it in court. If you demonstrate you have evidence in your favour they will most probably drop the charge.

 

Not sure about the speeding issue though:(

Get a relative who lives dar away to write a letter stating that you were parked outside of ther house at the time of the ticket. Ticketed car was either therefore on an illegal copy of your number plate or the a$%hole who wrote the ticket was too pissed to read you number plate.
