Just a little note for anyone buying parts from the US. it goes without saying that the parts supplied from people such as Courtesy Nissan is meant for their own home market and left hand drive but it can be suprising what parts are not the same.

See the attached photo of a heater matrix, the pipe work which includeds the flow valve is completely different could be potentially expensive if your old pipes are in need of changing as Nissan Uk only sell these with the matrix.

Looked at a set of pcv hoses from the same supplier today and they do not have the small reducer in the tubing like the UK and Jap spec ones, most likely an emmissions difference.

Just thought I`d share that, be carefull.

Hi Jeff,

BTW the courtesy PCV hoses do have the reducer, just got a set for mine a while ago!

That`s interesting, wonder if it is an interstate thing then? maybe as different emmission laws exist across the different states.

The set I looked at certainly did not have them.

Jeff

I've got a set here that I got from Courtesy that I can check. What should I be looking for?

There was a group buy on PCV kits a while ago and mine came with the reducer so I presume every body elses did and this came from Courtesy

I've just checked mine and 4 of the 5 hoses have metal reducers that look similar to washers inside them, so I presume that's what you're talking about?

There seems to be some inconsistency with these hoses. When I got mine from Nissan, neither had the restrictor.

Difference between NA and TT maybe? ;)

Emmision laws do vary in the States......California has the strictest, always has. They had pollution restrictions back in the 60's before the rest of the USA. At that time it was just a pcv valve.
