Well, it started yesterday - an urge for a change! I do get them every so often.

 

Well I do love my Zed, he great, body kit, souped up. Lovely big exhausts etc. But I'm getting bloody BORED!!!

 

Well I don't want to lose the Zed - like many here I've spent a small fortune on it and do love it - but ....

 

I realised we're sitting on a investment with my wife's Supra TT - since her mum has been ill she's lost interest in her car. So I suggested to her why not get rid of the Supra, use the Zed ("it'll be yours sweet" - like hell) and with the funds from the Supra we'll get a Lotus Espirit!

 

Great idea?

 

Yes I know they're starting to look their age, that they can give alot of trouble - but look at peoples experiences with the Zed!

 

So she type of tells me - "oh do what you want - at the moment it's all irrelavent to me".

 

Buy I think - Oh the Espirit is so expensive to service etc.

Can I really let her have the Zed etc.

 

What do I do?

 

Just get on modding and in the main getting out there and driving the Zed!!!

 

Oh life is so hard and confusing isn't it - lol

FFS don't go for the Esprit! Even a late model will bleed you dry.. Stick with the Zed - it's expensive but you've got a great bunch of like minded idiots in your camp! :D :D :D

Spend the money on modding the zed - I had a little "encounter" with an Esprit V8 TT and I wasn't very impressed with it's performance :D

Right yeah it is Esprit!!!

I have modded my Zed! And yes it is auto but that's got nothing to do with anything - it's just me I get bored with cars. The Zed is the longest I've ever kept a car - coming up to 3 years!

 

But this morning I woke up thinking - to hell with it. I'll just have to get the wife to do more to the Supra - so it will make it a bit more exciting! It's a great car but everyone in the family think it's too tame compared with the ZX!

 

Anyway the normal servicing of the Esprit is extremely expensive and thats just for routine stuff.

 

Anyway I'll just keep chewing it over.

 

I really do need to get Zeddie out more!!!
