Im thinking about starting to make a slam panel for my 300zx. Only trouble is i need the dimensions or a cardboard template of one. If i am succesfull i will go into production of them. I understand that they are in the region of £80 to buy ?! But im going to try and knock them out for about 30 or so. Please could some kind person, send me the dimensions, or better still a cardboard template of the slam panel ? I cant offer much in return but a huge discount on a new slam panel!! (If im succesfull )

Mike, if yer hoping to make em and sell for 30 quid good luck ;)

Genuine carbon fibre ones and stainless steel ones cost more than that just to manufacture in bulk numbers after cost of materials and laser cutting, which ain't cheap.

Cheap alloy sheeting,a hacksaw and a few hours labour would bring yer cost down, other than that, wishfull thinking i'm afraid.

Oh and stainless are around 55 quid and most carbon fibre around 60 quid ish, depending on quality of material used.

Lets put it this way! Im getting the materials free, and th bloke is using a guilloteen (excuse spelling) and he works for free! So my out goings are only time!
