Generally I like Americans. My sister married a great bloke but occassionally one of them does his best to re-inforce old stereotypes.

Check out e-bay.com - sale number 2434015890. 'Don't confuse this with the British counterfeit garbage' !!!!! FFS !!!!

F'ing cheek !!

I've met loads of nice Americans! Well, they are nice until you start having a laugh with them, and then the wonderful sense of humour they all claim to have vanishes and they get all stroppy and shirty! LMFAO!!  :slap:

LOL trying to bolster his own nationality inferiority complex by using a german produced item.

That's a bit like munchausens syndrome by proxy LOL.

He's probably right though, ours would be shit. LOL :D:D

Well isn't there a certain UK company that made (or make) a strosek 'copy'?

If so, what's wrong with what he put?

Would like to say thay I`m married to am American and well..yup

Stereotypes fit both sides of the pond on the whole but there are a few over there that are utter stormers! My best mate in America is the editor of a newspaper in PA. He is the smartest guy I have ever met and utterly human with it too. Others are so typically American it makes me cringe, including my wife`s twin sister who refused an invitation to come over earlier this year because of possible repurcussion of the 9/11 thing.

Some are stars but in my (extensive to date) experience, most are pretty much of the opinion that if it don`t happen within the US then it don`t happen.

Take care all!

Steve
