Just a quicky. Along the drivers side plenum chamber there is two thin metal tubes with rubber pipes going to the throttle body (just behind the butterfly valves) and somewhere else. Whilst fixing car I took the little pipe that goes down to the drivers side intake pipe and also the other little pipe off. Trouble is I can't remember which pipe goes to which tube.

Can someone please have a quick look and let me know. Doesn't seem to make any difference in running either way round.

They sound like the emission control pipes that go

to a small unit just behind the wing.

Top tube goes to TB, bottom tube goes to intake. Check the dash boost guage works - thats usually the first sign of the plumbing around that area being wrong.

Check the link for piccies of how all this piping fits together. Helped me get my vacuum gauge working again after some service work...

Point to note - the hoses are connected at either end of metal pipes (obviously) - trace where the other end goes before reattaching near the throttle!

Looking at that pic, obviously its not very clear, but the pipes seem to be the other way round to what you saying Andy.
