Finnaly got my zed running again after a couple of weeks of problems, but it's running rough as hell...

 

It happens throughout rev range, and is almost put - putting!! I've searched and found a few similar problems, but nothing quite the same!?

 

ECU's only got fault code for temp sender (which it had before), so this shouldn;t be the cause!!

 

Anyone any ideas? I've replaced the spark plugs, and at some point PTU, CAS and soldered the TPS in an attempt to track down probs. I've cleaned all connectors in sight and checked hoses!

 

How do i check the injectors?? (i've turned the CAS with the ignition on, and they are firing, but i don't know how well etc...

 

Any ideas appreciated!

Temp sender could well be the cause! Check the connector for corrrosion (yellow plug on top of metal pipe at front of engine).

I had problems with the yellow temp sensor and it wouldnt start. And when I finally got it going, it ran like poo and I had to use tha accelerator to stop the engine stalling.

cheers guys - i just assumed that since it ran ok with the fault before, it wouldn;t be the problem!! guess it could have been tipped over the edge when i cleaned it!!
