Common problem with all after market bumpers mate. We had the same problem with one sode of James believe it or not.

I've fitted 4 different bumpers to 4 different 300zx's and every single one took a slight drop where the bumper meets the front weel arch/wing. To get round the problem on James we cut the top off the existing screw mount (inside the wing) and used a small nut and bolt to holt it firmly, it now sits flush.

Sometimes you can bend the wing mount up slightly but I would suggest replacing the screw (which screws into the plastic) with a nut and bolt. This sould reduce the gap by a fair bit.
