Usually when this happens people start off with giving everything a good clean.

Start off with the water sensors, take them out and give them a going over with a wire brush until they are nice a shiney again.

Then move on to the throttle bodies which takes some time but is well worth it.

Clean the TPS, Trottle Position sensor which is the little black box at the side of the Plenium.

Clean or replace your airfilters.

Replace your fuel filter.

Reset your ECU by disconnecting the battery for at least an hour.

These little things do the car a world of good, plus they are the cheapest things to do.

were are the water sensors and what would be req to clean these and the throttle bodies

cheers

Dave:confused:

Water sensors are located on the aluminium pipe which comes out of the front of the engine. one has a yellow top (ECU sensor) and one has a black top (Dash Temperature)

Take them out and get a wire brush on them.

Bellow is a link on how to clean your throttle bodies. If you just do these 2 things, its worth resetting your ECU after. Or disconnect your battery why you do it.

Also, make sure all the coil pack connectors are pushed down fully.

Sometimes these can cause a problem that is only noticeable under heavy load.
