I would love to see someone challenge the nazi B***ards over this car confiscation crap. If you are not doing anything wrong and you are just parked up or driving properly in a taxed and insured car then it must be an infringement of human rights or something to be rounded up like criminals and threatened with fines or confiscation of your car. :mad:

Well as customs seem to be allowed to confiscate and crush cars when their owners bring more beer/wine/cigarettes into the country than customs have deemed "reasonable", despite the fact that under EU law they're doing nothing illegal, I'd be surprised if the police can't get away with this! :(

There are laws which forbid a crowed of 100 or more to congrigate in one place. It was one of the Anti Rave laws passed to cut down on Raves where no laws where really broken so the police could do nothing. So this 100 person law was passed and now they use it for cruises and such.

Yeah but remember when someone actually refused to take that s**t from customs and took it to court and customs were forced to hand back the cigarettes and compensate for the car. These people think they are the law but they are not. It just takes someone to dispute it and challenge it, exactly the same happened with radar detectors. The nazi's confiscated them for years claiming they were illegal untill someone took it to court and proved them wrong. If your ever down the seafront or wherever on a saturday night and you are warned about cruising just claim you are out for a drive with the missus or something and you are not part of any cruise just because your car has alloy wheels and a spoiler, remember it is for them to prove your guilt which they have no chance of doing.

Remember be awkward and dispute everything..It can be so much fun :D

was the criminal justice bill, or part of, it came in around the time i used to go raving a lot, 1992 ish.

 

In the old bill's defense, i went to an illegal cruise a few weeks back to see what all the fuss was about and the hole it was a okay event, but there were arseholes street racing etc in the middle of the congregation. there were a few near misses.
