FS - UK Spec Supra

I think its time to go, so testing the water :-

 

UK Spec 1994 Supra - resprayed in Lexus Blue, rear spoiler removed, Lexus 18" wheels, decatted, Blitz NurSpec R exhaust.

 

64k miles, history, all recent works done by Leon.

Looks nice mate. Very Smooth, although I've never been keen ok UK spec windscreen squirters. They kinda stick out from the line.

I feel the same about them on a 300zx as well.

 

But the car looks nice.

 

I like the rear :D but again from this picture you can see what I mean about those windscreen washer things.

Thats about the right price for a UK with that mileage. JIC would probably knock that out for 15K plus!

 

You will find cheaper but bear in mind like most things that this has been looked after and is not a heap that might be up for 8K.

 

But for gods sake stick a spoiler on it! :D

Spoiler no, thats what attracted me to it. Not a fan of spoilers. Was originally looking for another 300 but this time I wanted a SWB TT manual but finding the right one is proving difficult until I saw this... Thought it was an Aston at first glance, just appears to hold the lines lovely without the spoiler..... Glad the price is right for a UK spec an as you say, well looked after. :rofl:

yep, thats Deans car, he helped setup the club over 2 years ago and has had a Supra for ages now. The car has been very well looked after and is in excellent condition. As its a UK spec the insurance is also half the price of an import, I pay £550 fully comp on a modified (400bhp+) UK spec, it was over £1k on my import for the same mods.

Erm - that looks quite nice - Because there is no spoiler to er spoil it - changes the lines of the car completely....very nice indeed.

never thought I woudlsee the day when zedders where praising the supra ! lol - now all of YOU sell the Zeds get a proper car and come on our board :D :D :D

Wasn't the JDM n/a supplied sans spoiler?

 

I personally like the clean lines without the wing, and imagine the suprise when some cocky Zed thought 'it's only a n/a, I'll just toast him!' :D

 

Get yer cheque book out m8, I love the colour and even the wheels suit it, know what you mean about the Aston bit.

Ok ill say that the supra has more dated styling but when u try to make them nice they end up looking ok but when u kit up a zed u just cant mess with it.

 

In my opinion the zed is a better car and if you check the Evo car magazine (a very distingushied car magazine) they give the zed 4 stars and the supra 3 stars why is that

 

It is because the zed is a drivers car and not nanny wagon like the poopra. It has more feel and response when driving the poopra thakes that all away

 

what for its a sports car it should have those things

 

so on that basis the zed is better than the shitty poopra

Probably because they take other things into consideration other than styling,performance and drivability - things such as running costs and affordabilty are also factors - Im sure both cars have there own following

Nice Supra, I agree with the Aston similarity, but only in the first picture profile and only coz the wheels are similar to the DB7...

 

However from all other angles it doesn't look quite as good without the spoiler. IMHO ONLY the standard spoiler looks good, those big fins just make any car look a bit "Max power"

 

Supra looks "myopic" with those front lights, whereas the Zed has ferrari/lambo good looks.

 

As for performance all magazine tests show a standard Supra can trounce a standard Zed (sob:( ) 0-60 / 0-100 etc, but the Zed has more driver appeal and character.

Having driven both cars, the Supra can outhandle a Zed, but the Zed made ME feel in control whereas the Supra made me feel it was in charge.

 

I'd still have one though, but I'd keep my Zed as well thanks !!:D

I do like that Supra but I've driven one and my Z will leave it 4 dead and I'll look better doing it. Like you said "styling,performance and drivability" that will do me !

 

Get another Z you know it makes sense.
