Garages between Bristol & Lands End??

Now that winter is around the corner I'm gonna do something about replacing/rebuilding my engine. Can anyone recommend any good garages that could remove & completely rebuild engine + replace all pipes etc in engine bay whilst engine is out, + know what they're doing + not cost an arm & a maindealers leg!!! in labour??????

I need somewhere in sensible driving distance of Plymouth.....

mmmm well im a member of a club for jap cars. And we all live between Bristol and Truro (ish) (Im from Torquay) - go to the forum and join up if you want. There are some Zed owners on there as well as some other guys that know their stuff. There aint many peeps on here who live down southwest.

Yeah, we seem a bit out on a limb here....

Basically I'm looking at an engine rebuild/modification. The bloke I use normally (Ginge) works for West End Motors (Nissan Dealers) in Bodmin. He knows his stuff on the Z and has carried out a lot of work on mine over the past couple of years, but hasn't got the amenities to do private work! Therefore mainfella prices:(

I'd use SE but what a pain in the ass to get too!!! I'm toying with the idea of buying a 2nd hand 'lower' mileage engine having it rebuilt to a high spec then replacing mine but £1k for that luxury doesn't appeal!!! + I'd still have to pay mainfella prices for the out/in!

Ill pose some questions on the site as per your suggestion.

Alex
