Jap spec doesnt have a rear fog light so only the switch for front.

UK will have both but I'm not sure where.

J spec cars only have front fogs and UK cars only have rear so Nissan in their wisdom use the same switch (right hand of dash, top switch) to operate both.

You'll need to find someone with a J spec car and see where they've hidden their rear fog switch.

Hello,

I have a jap TT. Dash switch top left does indeed do the fronts. I have a switch that also lights red when on under the CD changer control in the centre console.

The light are as follows.

Front UK car

Indicators are in the bumper either side of the number plate.

Side lights are on the corners, no front fogs.

Read lights are all the same appart from fogs that are in the bumber on the back UK cars Jap have none and us dunno.

Front Jap

Indicators are on corner, fog and side light are either side on number plate inplace of the indicators on uk cars.

front US

Indicators and Side lights are on the corners, fog only either side of the number plate.

Mine, well just to be differant, I have US spec side lights so I have 4 side lights at the front. Corners and fog/side lights.

The back was botched in my opinion. They had replaced the drivers side revering light with a red bulb, cut the wire and linked this to a relay and then the red switch mesioned above.

I have put the reverse lights back to norn and I am looking for some small red fogs to put either side of the rear number plate.

One thing I have seen, is the two most inner brake lights converted to fogs, but when you brake you then only have the two outers that get brighter...hense me looking for another way.

On a seperate note, I have also got two red LEDs in my revering light cluster, so when my side lights are on the hole wide of the back is red. When revers is selected the white light simply overpowers the red....I think it looks realy cool.

I'll let you know and everyone else what I end up doing for rear fogs. I am sure whatever I come up with has to be better than what I've seen so far.

I have a J-spec car and can confirm that they only have a front fog light switch on the right hand side binacle. To operate the rear fogs (which I have wired in with a relay to operate the inner brake lights) I have flush fitted a 12V rocker switch (with red LED = MOT requirement) to the top of the same binacle. Looks professional enough. I have also seen similar switches fitted next to the clock, on the centre console and on the dash underneath the steering wheel.

might even try wiring up foglamps to the main beam with an overide switch I.E.

switch in off position, fogs come on and off with the main beam as though they were driving lamps

swich on they would be on constant as fog lamps,

bit of head scratching but sure i will find a way, or set fire to the zed !!!
