what do you guys with 2 cars do about insurance, can u add it to an existing policy or do u have to have a seperate one, as me car is now up the creek, i need to sort out a runabout. whats the cheapest way to do it.

Depending upon age and the miles you do do, the best option may be to put the Zed on a classic policy such as that done by Norton and then insurnce the runaround as main car. Just insuring my older TT for £250 fully comp, while the newer one is my main car using ncd costing about £500.

depending on how much the other cars worth you could just register it in someone elses name and then you would be covered third party on the run-around as you're the policy holder on the zed.

If you have a UK Z you can get it on modern classic and use your NCB on your 2nd car.

 

Or most places now, if you have Full NC, will mirror it and give you full NC on your 2nd car too.
