This morning I started the car after it being idle for 2 days. Rather than starting first click as usual it took a few throws to start and then fired and less than all cylinders for a few minutes. It was OK after it got moving. This is not the first time this has happened. It had a 3000 mile service last thursday and had new plugs at the last 12000 service. Any ideas on this. Fouling plugs?

Was OK on the way home tonight. Spooky!

P.S. Got card from posty, chip at post-office. One day it will get to me!!!!!!

Check the ECU for an error code.

Check the connector on the each coil, changing the spark plugs may have disturbed them. Check the contact is good, no rust etc.

If you get more problems I can look in the service manual for you.

Thanks Jez will check it out before I change the ECU.

Quick tip,

Just to be on the safe side, Check ECU diagnostics Before ECU install (with the Stock) ECU and after the Install that way you can be sure the New ECU is in full working order.
