Hi all,

Got a little problem with the panels under the engine. The panel closest to the front bumper is okay, but the one behind it has worked itself loose somehow, and has an alarming tendancy to drop down at the front, whereby the oncoming air pushes it down onto the road and scares the shit out of me =)

Anyone know how these things are supposed to stay in place, and how I could get this one refixed, either properly or by juryrigging it!

Cheers guys

Raz

Hey Raz,

Have a similar problem with mine ... the front left panel (under the air intake) came off at 90mph and I'm still cleaning the seat .... wink.gif I have yet to find replacement parts but for the time being I've managed to keep the offending part in place by using wires to support it. It's not elegant or proper but it does the trick until I can find replacement parts. My problem is that the bolts holding the panel to the car are either stuck as a house or disintegrated ... Let me know if you want to replace your panels - I am currently trying to find some and we could start a group buy or something.

Cheers m8!

Raz,

The front lip of the engine cover should go under the

panel that's in front of it.

There is one screw holding it in place there.

It's also secured to the body frame on the front left and right side of it.

Take a good look in there and you should figure it out.

I got new panels from Nissan, here in Sweden.

The engine cover was ~70£ and the covers under

the intercoolers were a bit cheaper.

Thanks Maciej, it sounds like the screw(s) have probably popped out then.

Danny, I'm going to see if its possible to screw the existing panels back in place, but if it looks like they've taken some damage I might be getting in touch with you =)
