All,

 

I have a 89TT Jap Import. It's superb throughout but is driving me crazy with the safety beeps. There's a loud one on the Reverse and a very quiet one when I go over 100KM (not that I do that very often of course :D )

the beeping over 100km/h can be stopped by putting a fibre washer under a screw on the back of the speedo. i cant remember which one though. i think there is a write up on twin turbo.net

This is what I did and you keep the warning chime for light on etc but no more speed or reversing chime :D
