while fiddling around with the oil sensor I noticed I have a leak in one of the clutch hoses (see attached pic). Quite a small leak, only have a few drips in my parking space.

I've also recently noticed it's difficult getting out of gear when maneuvering (sp?) around when cold. Could this be the cause?

Is it just a case of ordering a new cable from MJP and changing it over (assuming I'll have to drain and refill system while I'm at it)

Thank for your help :D

Have you not tried just tightening up the clip? Or if its split, cutting the split part off and then clipping it back on. If this does work you should bleed your clutch anyway now as there is probably air in it already.

That hose is a prefab job unforts. You'll have to either replace it or take it to a hydraulic hose specialist to be repaired/remade.

Bleeding the clutch however is a complete PITA - ensure the adjustment is fully 'out' on the clutch pedal so the master cylinder travels its full distance - pushing out all the air inside. Also don't forget to bleed the extra 'leg' of the circuit at the front of the drivers wing (next to the HICAS units). Alternatively, you can get a replacement pipe which doesn't have this extra leg - why its there nobody knows...

Just found this http://www.splparts.com/Z32/Drivetrain/Clutch.asp

Also, not forgotten about the pod for you - will sort out ASAP ;)

CheerZ,

I think I've still got my old hose as I replaced it with one of those SPL ones. PM me your address and I'll send it to you (as long as I can find it).
