My bloody employer has yet to pay me for lasts months work and i can see problems in getting it. This is really gonna f*** me up financially and i see me having to sell me Z.

 

Really don't want to but options are small. I have not yet fitted my TC so that could be up for sale if anyones interested.

 

If finances don't come soon I won't be able to make Traxs so my ticket could also be up for sale.

Sorry to hear 'bout your troubles. I have yet to be paid for 6 months of consultancy work I have done for a company in Spain (they now owe me upto £40k including interest I'm charging them). The bastards have since declared bankrupcy and I am taking them to court to recoup my losses - could take upto 4 years in Spain ... but I'm not letting this much money go). I am now working for another company (yet another startup) but this one is still paying me. My advice is to keep pushing for the money and start looking around for other opportunities ASAP! What kind of work are you doing at the moment - I know a lot of people who could potentially help.

You wouldn't believe how *hard* that experience has made me (no silly remarks please ...) As it was a start-up company I took certain risks. They paid me bits at a time (enough to cover rent and basic living) but the majority of what they now owe me is actually interest charges on the principle (I'm charging them a measely 7% per month ...) My lawyers think I've got a strong case but it will take a while to get it all sorted. I've got the owner's signatures on documents that say that they owe me this much money plus monthly interest ... stupid f*^ks just signed it without looking!

Anyway, I'm not in IT - I'm a telecommunications consultant (voice over IP and IP messaging primarily).

But you're right - look out for number 1 always and bollock to the rest!

Yeah started work for a start up, bad mistake, was offered work at British Aerospace before this and turned it down... Hind sight hey.

 

Well speaking to solictor but all probably lost as the b***ard has no money. Will try and get a personal guantee from him for the monies owed.

 

Gonna nick a couple of his clients and hopefully this will see me thru till a new job turns up.

 

Danny its a gutter when this happens you just don't expect it, well i didn't! I do programming, internet stuff (asp, sql server, bit of Java etc) so if you know of any work going please get in touch as all seems a little quiet here in Dorset.

 

Havent decided wether to sell car/TC/Traxs yet, have to see how things go! REALLY don't want to sob sob

 

Contracting is on its arse at the moment, IR-35 and all that! F**kin' labour nazis!
