My recently purchased zed had a crap back window defroster, visibility was poor due to tiny blisters, sort of similar to the appearance of orange peel. I had to remove the film by scraping off the film with a razor blade. In doing so a lot of the Nissan defroster element (jap cars have a stuck on defroster) was removed or damaged.

 

Does anyone know if there are any companies that can install a new stuck on defroster that will look good ? or know where I can buy a good one to install myself. It does seem outrageous to replace the back window just because of the defroster.

You can get repair paint from most autofactors. You simply 'paint on' the missing arrears with a special conductive paint...
