gas rules the rooste, it is awsome stuff, i have not had it on my z yet but i see jwt do progressive kits that use nitrus only until your blowers kick in.

'

i had a huge nitrous kit on my ford laser 1.6 over here in south africa and for a 1.6 litre i was running 14,4 over the quartermile with just gas up at altitude of 1.5 km standerd the car was runing 17;s over the quarter and then one day

boom boom boom , got the valves stuck in the pistons and all went bang, but i still think its awsome.

it cost about £50 to refill a bottle and there are not to many places left who have the pucker stuff

make sure you use a good system to controll it or it will melt your pistons

a bottle will not last long

Check out the system on the JWT site, it runs untiol something like 10psi then lets you turbos take over.

Not that you probably care!!! - But I don't think it's legal over here to have the bottle connected up on a public road??? I bet the insurance companies would love you!

jwt site wot's the full sp with it as i dont think ive ever looked at it. insurance companies have slapped me daft for years so i'm inclined to not let them in on everything i have done as any excuse for them to rape me they usually do

You can either go the JWT dry system or a custom NOS wet system (without using the computer to control it like the JWT system), if you go the custom route you'll need some sort of controller to switch the NOS on when you've got foot flat, and is below a certain boost level.

There seems to be varying opinions of which route to go..

Either way I've driven a NOS'd TT T28 equipped AUTO and F***K IT's GOOOD TIMES!!!!!!!!! The car is setup with a custom wet system where when the nos comes on flood gates open and extra fuel is pumped in via a couple of extra feeds in the intake piping. The system turned off at 14psi boost (okay the dude is a looney), normally you'd only set it at about 12psi. Nothing and I mean nothing has ever compared to that "click" when I heard the microswitch on the throttle turn the stuff on. It was actually a dissapointment when the NOS turned off as the engine seemed to come off song when it was *only* getting the air from those big T28's.

There's a reason they call it laughing gas - coz you can't stop laughing/grinning/raving about it for the next 5-10mins.
