I was reading up on a site where u can get a kit on the apexi filter which has two filters to it the kit is available for the skyline gtr r32 r33 r34 but it didnt say nothing about the 300zx would it be possible to get an apexi dual filter kit for the zx.

There are 2 ways of doing it.

 

2 get a Y pipe so you can put 2 filters on normally.

 

Or get 2 MAS's and have one either side of the intake like in the picture.

LOL!! so wheres the other MAS then??? is it like a "spot the MAS" competition & we put an X where we think it is??? :D

 

actually, they remap the ecu to double the signal from the single MAS, allowing twice the airflow.

This system is a must for cars intending to make 450 HP or more. By moving the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor to one side of the engine and adding a second POP-Charger, the precision of a MAF sensor is maintained and the air flow capacity is doubled! An added benefit is a quicker turbo spool-up due to the elimination of flow disturbance caused by the stock rubber t-hose. This system requires a special ECU program that is included (in exchange for your previous JWT EPROM).
