I need to add some guages especially for showing the boost. What make guages do people use - some recommendations please?

Thanks,

Geoff.

Anyone got a link for Defi gauges then - I never heard of them before.

Yeah, concentrating on getting opposite lock on. ;)

I know what you mean - the A-pillar gauges are easy to glance at but are a little bit Vin Diesel...

I looked at quite a few track cars on Sunday that had gauge clusters that rose on a short stem out of the top right of the binnacle - so they weren't actually on the A-pillar, but were still in that part of your vision and easy to glance at. (Can't find a pic right now...) I think I'd do that if the pillar pods hadn't been there when I bought the Z.

Kirbz has them on his new banana - I didn't take a pic of his dash though... just his weirdo aux injectors. He's a got a pic in his "rides" section.

Most boost controllers will show you peaks - the AVC-R lets you start and stop recording with one keypress too. You can also find electronic gauges or even mechanical gauges that can hold the peak instead of displaying in real time when required.

Or you could sack all that and get a HUD! (yes really)

Got a pukka Blitz boost gauge from Johnny at GPS. Electronic, stepper motor jobbie - dead easy to fit, very accurate and hold/peak functions too.
