Whilst fitting Paul Gunn's Turbo xs BOVs and taking a few video's of them, we could hear a hissing sound after the engine was switched off.

Paul said that this had always been the case. Right side of the zorst was also a little smokey.

Anyway, Paul fitted a boost gauge yesterday and then phoned me up to tell me that he was only pushing 5 psi. !!!!

He popped over later and we ran a few checks on it.

We found a few boost leaks and this....

So we took the pipe off and replace both front PCV hoses both were in a bad way

There are still a few small Boost leaks to sort out still but after going for another run, we are up to just under 8psi.

Paul says the car feels real quick now , still just over 1psi to get back though.

Smoke has also stopped. Will be replacing the rest of the PCV hoses and Valves along with any other leaking boost, vaccum hoses we can find a little later.

What was his stock gauge reading? 9psi i bet?

I get the same hissing when engine turned off, I guess I should start hunting for leaks.

Well on Jap specs the gauge is not measured in PSI but in mmHg, but it was reading almost a bar under 7mmHg

700mmHg (the guage is x100) is 13.5psi.. Stock guage strikes again :)

7mmHg would be 0.135psi on the other hand.... ;) :D
