Hi folks,

After putting on my new greenstuff (easy job for anyone wondering) i noticed both front tyres are worn on the inner most part of the tyre. The rest of the tread is ok, like new in fact so i figure i have a problem.

Would you tyre experts recommend me a course of action so it doesnt happen on the new tyres i will be putting on.

BTW they are Falken 235/40Z18's

You probably need the camber adjusting - this is tricky as there is no adjustment built in. You need to either get creative (!) or perhaps get some of the adjustable suspension arm things. There are some details in the tech section on twinturbo.net

you could get a 300degree camber compensation kit from got rice.

thjis is what i have, althogh not fitted yet frown.gif

it is basically a couple of metal plates and longer bolts, but should do the trick

was about 60 quid or so

i had the exact same problem, had the tracking sorted out, and it seemed to do the job, but it was too late as my tyres were shot, so in=ve had to bung for new on the front, but if your car has been lowered than like craig says you will need the kit he was talking about.

I have a similar problem, but my n/s front wears on the outside. I'm having the tracking checked (again) on Friday and will be investigating options to make it wear correctly.

what i did find though was that when i put my new tyres on my tracking had gone out again, now this could have been due to the guy itether bullshi*ng me or just wear and tear after travelling through europe, i did a little over 4000 miles on that journey.
