Class A , 60 watts per channel.

Valve pre-amp.

Naim CD5 front end and Ruark speakers.

Total cost = price of decent Zed!

Do you use XLO cables/interconnects ?

I have an Audio Alchemy DDS 111/DDE 111 CD Transport/DAC running through Myryad MI120/MA120 (biamped) and playing out of Mission floorstanders (can't remember model no.) with XLO cabling - and the sound is amazing.

Mighty good spec!

Yes but have digital tuner not yet quite finished.

There's a Thorens TD 125 and Grace arm but I've abandoned

my vinyl.

There's a pair of transmission line speakers

in the garage awaiting a new home. (40" high!)

Thanks - have you ever heard of all-digital amplifiers ? - I used to have a link to a website - they cost a few thousand (3/5 ?) but were supposed to sound awesome and be so much quicker than conventional amps.

Not looked into possibility of digital amps,

tho' now you've suggested it I might!

Would want to build my own, as I did with valve amps.

While we are talking boys toys, I have a Myriad MP100 preamp running bi-amp setup with a pair of custom amps based on Naim NAP250 design. Front end gear is Teac VRDS-T1 transport with old mission dac and a Rega 3 with Audio Technica MC cartridge. Speakers are Tannoy R3's, smaller than my old Isobariks but space was needed:( .

Paul.

likes, Z's and music.

Dislikes, Supra's and MTV!!
