changing drivers side window motor...

Hi, I'm about to attempt the above but have no manual...

 

I seem to remember a 'how to' on the web somewhere but cant find it....has anyone got the url for it????

lol having a bit of a nightmare!!!

 

the instructions in the link assume that u can get the drivers window down in order to get to a screw on the pillar...if the window cant go down i cannot get to the screw to unscrew it (it's step 1 in the instructions)....

 

 

so how can i get the window down???? or can i do this another way?

i've just started to remove the door trim in order to change my drivers side ellecy motor but have encountered a problem, yes already! see the following....

did it!

 

basically had to be a bit rough with the pillar to move out of the way...

 

turns out the motor was fine it was the controller!

 

so does anyone wanna buy a motor???
