I can help u with Scissor/Lamborghini doors and Suicide doors.

 

As far as know Gull wing is not possible for the Zed.

I meant scissor doors. I havent tried google yet - no! I didnt think it would help me - but i will try it now

Scissor doors look amazing! Have you done this mod? If so how much was it etc, or do you fit them yourself? Im very interested in this. Cheers for any help - Mike

Not done it - on list of 'maybe'.

There's so much else I fancy doing first.

 

Not heard of anyone in this country doing it; our American

cousins do that sort of thing.

Sorry to jump on the bandwagon but if it`s ok with you I`d like to have a look at that file. Was checking out one of the stands at Max Power Live where they were offering the conversion but was a little put off at the time as the guy couldn`t close the doors on the demonstration car!:rolleyes:

It was £1200 for the Civic door conversion (fitted yourself, £1500 for them to fit it) and between £1500 and £2000 for a Z depending on the work involved. Although I also remember him saying he was about to start a Z conversion for some guy. The company were called "Turismo".

 

The reason he gave for not being able to close the doors was that he had just fitted a wide arch kit and they smacked the edge of it every time they closed!:rolleyes:

Not long ago their was some guy selling a CD on ebay on how to do this conversion, so i bought it!!

 

I dont know if this is the same as 'simmo's' but it has some useful info on it if anyone is interested

Hahahahaha Friday that fella ur talking about is Kay who is the owner of Turismo Bodystyling and the guy he was talking about who he was gonna do a conversion 4 was ME :D :D :D

Hes a top guy who is also doing my wide arch kit which should hopefully be done by end of october (fingers crossed hes not to busy)

 

The problem is after my little accident im having to fork out for some new alloy wheels so i might have to put off the lambo doors as i like to call them.

 

But if any1 is intrested in doing it let me know and ill put u forward to kay.

 

The guy is a wizard with bodywork hes done alot of front page cars recently. Ill be posting up some pics of my car once all the work has been done.

Was sorry to hear about your accident in the other thread Fas, hope you get it all sorted soon. I was thinking about having a crack at the conversion myself (with the help of two very mechanically minded mates!) but if he`s as good as you say (problems with closing doors on demonstration cars aside:p :D ), if I get cold feet I may well give him a call in a couple of months.

Thanks mate im gutted 2 but kay has promised me the works when he does my wide arch bodykit to cheer me up (i hate fuc kin renaults)

 

I showed him simmos file on the scissor doors. He said hes already seen that file and its alot harder to do than it looks.

 

He said its better to buy the kit and then make the adjustments urself.

 

But if u r gonna try it then take ur time and dont rush it.
