came up spotless, scrubbed the flaps (ooeerrr) as well...

cheers Jon.....;)

Is happening to me at the moment. Does it happen if you've got the A/C on? I find the increase in rpm stops it stalling for me.

Gonna try the tickover speed this weekend - found that the AIV/FICV (or whatever) connections were totally greened up. So with these clean, manual tick-over set, TPS volts corrected and an ECU reset, hoping all this goes away. Might help you as well?

Could it be the PTU?

If it gets up to temp the wire stripes inside expand and come off the track which cuts outs the power.

If it cools down it'll start.

This has happend twice to me now but not since i've the upgraded version from the states.

Clean the idle valve ;) Pull the hose off it and spray loads of carb cleaner inside... Its at the back passenger side of the plenum. Whats a plenum? Its the big shiney thing on top of the engine. Whats a shiney thing... oh ffs :D

An air leak into the intake after the air mass meter will cause cutting out when the clutch is dipped. Check all the hoses to the inlet manifold.

Andy,

You really have to wait till people ask stupid questions before you lose your rag :)
