Lots of patience, lots of wd40 or similar & suitable size drifts, 1 to press the ball joint out and another to press it back in again (different sizes), basically two bits of pipe that fit over the ball joint. I think these are actually shown in the manual including the dimensions....

I put a reply to your other message further down...I have just done this on my Z. In the end I had to take the entire hub off the car because there was no way I could get anything into the space that would get it out. Once off the car it took under 15 minutes to change the ball joint....using a copper mallett to remove the old one and then an oversized socket and a vice to squeeze the new one in!!!
