When i brake har i get a loud squeek noise from the engine bay, Sounds like the ABS unit.

Why is this?

Dan

Its only when i brake hard.

Brakes feel fine but it does sound like its coming from the ABS unit.... Sounds like air/fluid escaping possibly?

Is it??

WTF is that thing with the yellow ABS sticker on it in the front at the back of the engine bay on the drivers side, that moves shockingly forward when the pedal is depressed!!!

If that isn't the ABS unit why put a BIG sticker on it??

:D

Crazy Japanese!

Matty.

I meant the actuator, which I know some people refer to as the unit?

Dan,

I get this as well, only when pressing the peddle with a certain pressure though. Mine seems to come from the bottom of the foot well where the peddle assembly is. No leaking fluid or anything. Not fiqured it out yet.

Ditto, its a wied thing, only ever happens whan using it after its been standing overnight or if you hit the brakes hard for the first time.

Very odd, I had put it down to being one of those noises that only a zed owner can hear;)
