Hi Guys

 

I'm looking at a Zed on Ebay and have agreed a price on the car but the problem is i live in Lancs and the car is London/Essex way:confused:

 

So if someone lives that way, i'm after a favour:)

 

Would someone who know Zed'd well go and have a look and give me an honest view of the car, of course i will cover any expenses plus a case of stella ;)

 

If anyone can can you please let me know.

 

Oh the car is Harlow way, means nothing to me cause there's nothing below watford is there!!!:p

I am in Essex but Harlow is over an hours drive from me.

I know AndyP is in Harlow, but he is pretty busy right now, he may know of the Z you are talking about.

Yup, that's right, I'm lucky enough to work in Harlow ! (LOL) and am even here right now ...

 

I know of a couple around, silver import and a red UK spec I think. Is it the yellow one on eBay that you're buying ?

I just wanted someone to have a quick look at it before i go down there and possibly buy it.

 

Just trying to take some of the risk out of ebay, last time i got lucky and picked a good one but you never know!!!

 

If i cant get someone then i will go myself and if its a gudun i'll have it if not then its back on the train for me.

Yep my craving is back, due to a change in my situation i'm getting another, be it with a smaller front bumper to miss them speed bumps so i spotted this one on ebay and it looks good, not too sure about the colour but its cheap enough and its had alot of money spent on it.

 

So if i get it new 19's and a flip paint job is on order :D

ohh dont ask - i spent 1 week driving her - the rest she has been in the garage having things fixed.

 

she looks good and goes well when she goes -

 

i'm awaiting water hoses from japan at the moment so she probably wont be on the road much before september.

 

but i have a long long list of things to repair -

 

exhaust is ****ed so getting a quote for HKS front and middle sections (also speed bump dmamage i gather)

 

turbo gasket has gone so need to replace it - gives me a change to put something bigger thand the TB22s on though - probbaly going to go down the T25 hybrid route :D

 

Clutch is sticking - bloody racing clutch - will change it for a normal variety.

 

Flywheel - nothing really wrong with this although i fancy a steel one.

 

so all in all - 15k and rising i would think - not bad for a car which has a list value of £2k

I might be able to take a look at it after work on Wednesday or Thursday this week, after that I'm away for a while. Let me know details or get the seller to contact me.

And hopefully it will be a goodun!!! and i will be in a zed again be it yellow but i have priced up a flip paint job today ;)

Its not cheap, the base coat is about £500 a litre:eek:

 

So to completely take the paint down to bare metal and get rid af any marks, bumps etc you are looking at £3000 all in.

 

The guy who does it near me is that good, there are several well known tuning places that want him to do their cars!!

 

I have seen his work and its out of this world and he's a one man band with a small unit!

 

You can have any colour as well, purple into gold, blue into red, green into blue etc etc

 

MMMMM flip paint and 19's now thats a Zed :)

my car when ready for painting will have wide arch kit and rear bumper and new front bumper new rear high level spoiler etc with 18" wheels. do you think he would charge more as rear would be fibre glass. this will look tasty

I wouldnt have thought so, and £3000 was the upper price depending on how much bodywork was needed so if you work on £3000 you should be safe

 

Please note i went to see him today and he has a 2 month waiting time, cos he's that busy!!!

Well guys i'm buying the zed :)

 

SE Nissan knows the car and they say its a great car and recommended it, so they know more than me.

 

Just got hold of an Alpine in dash motorised screen with dvd changer and multi media station for it.....oohhhhh yes porn on the move :cool:

 

Its already got quite a large alpine stereo in it so that one might be up for sale very soon so if anyones interested please let me know also the car has some cool cobra racing seats but they are for a meduim butt and i'm a bit of a lardy butt so again they will be up for sale.

excellent - i'm supposed to go to me mums on the 9th for a bbq - but should be able to make sort of late morning or early afternoon

 

ohh wait a min- what station you comming into? if its somthing like watford i could perhaps pick you up and take you to essex - save you comming into london and back out again.

I was going to go on the train to harlow but its 5 1/2 hours so i was going to gat my dad to drive me but i have just had a look at watford and its only just over 3 hrs on the train so if you could it would be a real life saver if you could pick me up at watford and take me over, i will cover any costs of course, but that will save my poor dad driving all the way down there and back up again, plus my missus wanted to go on the train with me to pick it up.

 

The train times arriving in watford are 11.20 ish give or take a few hours for being late!!!!

 

So please let me know
