Hello there folks,

Well my PCV valves and hoses finally arrived yesterday. I've had a look under the bonnet and I just can't see where they are !!

There are a couple of threaded valves that go into the inlet manifold but the hoses look nothing like the ones that came with the valves in the post.

Can anyone help or am I just going blind?

Thanks.

Martin.

Is is not possible to clean these valves rather than replace them?

Do we really need to answer that??? :D

ok, youre being cheap! :p

supposed I asked for that, you cheeky wind up scampster you

But that aside whats to stop you cleaning it?

Problem is that the springs loose their spring - probably due to the heat etc.

If you can't blow through either then it's gummed up with cak and needs cleaning. After cleaning, if you can shake the valve and the inner part rattles then the springs are worn out and it definitely needds replacing.
