Picked up my car from Silvia a few hours ago. Although I'm not going to give it stick until I've put a few hundred miles on the new gearbox, the difference is HUGELY noticeable. Gearchanges are instant and really firm. Just like the HKS ALC but firmer and affects all changes, not just full throttle.

I'll report more when I can try full throttle action but initial reaction is that I'd thoroughly recommend the fast road upgrade when getting the box rebuilt.

Cost is £1,400 plus £250 for removal and refitting. Mine was about £100 more because I'd damaged part of the reverse mechanism which wouldn't normally need replacement. Also had the oil cooler fitted which is £300 incl fitting but, in my opinion, is worth it (and required for warranty purposes on the fast road spec rebuild).
