Looking good Dave,

I don't think you'll be breaking those pistons! Are they JE?

I'm sure that SE will give you the full SP on running etc, but keep a close eye on oil and coolant levels when you get your Z back.

Was sure I had a coolant leak after topping mine up 5 days after I got it back but it took a while to fill completely. A bit of oil consumption during run in can be expexted.

Thanks for those tips, will keep an eagle eye on all fluid levels, plus they are JE pistons. Also you might notice the mig wiring around the bore, and I am told i have motor sport quality head gaskets (what ever they are).

The plenum was done at a metal polisher in Wickford, cost only £150. Nice chap and did it mega quick. Thought the job was ok but after noticing some other it seemed it was up to the job of most polished plenums. Pete got the arse when he noticed some polish and other bits that had got where they shouldn't, so he rushed me an hours labour to clean it up.

But he was going to charge £400 so I guess he wanted to get a few quid outta me for going somewhere else. ;)
