............Pampering the Z!!

Went to Harry's and spent £40 on bits and bobs (mostly cleaning products!!)

First of all, cleaned the Z..........

Then T-Cut.....

Then Colour restored...........

Took me fluffin ages the Z is a huge car to T-Cut and colour restore (I can see a bit of a difference in colour) and now my arms are hurting a bit, wax on wax off motion!!

Then thought about waxing, but it's nearly dinner time (always late in our house!, I know 7:15pm!)

The colour is not quite matched yet as the new 99 spec shows up how faded the 'Panther Black' has become!!

I will however carry on with the restoring the colour until it matches, only 5 days left...............;)

Plus I have to get the mStation fitted, get the trim all nice and new (either Plasti-cote or black insulation tape!) the front fogs wired in (JEFF!!!!!!) oh, and the boot carpet cut in for the rear sub...(JEFF!!!!! again.......LOL)

I'm gonna be busy all week it seems............

Nearly forgot, I need to buy the tent and the beer!! And the food......and the disposable BBQ's.........

If I can't get it colour matched I'll have to suffer the jokes of the 'car with the bra' etc... but at least (fingers crossed) I'll be at Billing this year!! :D :D

LMFAO!!! It was just that I happened to read the 2 posts one after the other! ;) :D :D

Matty,

Know exactly how ya feelin. Spent most of satday and all yesterday t cutting the car. I havent done it since owning it and the last owner hadnt done it for years so you can imagine it was terrible. Looks a million times better now, especially seeing as my mate popped round and put some new black vinyl and logos on the spolier.

Just got the pass door to cut, then wash and wax, then the interior and then ........................... BUt boy are my arms aching today!!!!

Still, they're worth it!!!

Nick

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

Once a year I spend all day, I'm talking from 10 until 5 cleaning the car.

Washing T-Cut, polishing, Resin Polish every thing. Looks great after it all though.

Stuart

Washing T-Cut......

Erm Stu, you're supposed to WIPE the T-cut off not wash it off :p

Only 4 more times of the colour restorer to go now!!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday........

Each day it needs a wash before........

Hopefully it'll be worth it come Saturday!

:D
