Has anyone bought a metallic grey 300ZX - Auto - TT - @1992 - Japanese spec - since January this year ?

the funny thing is i recon they are slowing down with regards o how many are on the market and all, i see less and less in the papers or is it just my imagination

From what i have been told you will see very few TT imports due to the SVA test. Because the cars are classed as being newly registered in the UK they have to meet the same standards as new cars coming of the production lines.

The emissions must also meet the standards being set for 2004, so won`t be seeing many performance turbo`s coming in.

All I know is that when I was looking for a Manual TT there where a few every week. Now I see a manual for sale once a week or maybe one every few weeks

As some of you may recall, the reason I was asking was that back in Jan. someone nicked my 300ZX. Since then i've seen a similar one around with a unique feature that mine had....but I didn't catch the reg.

YOU MAY HAVE MY NICKED 300ZX !

 

My advice to all of you :

Get a good alarm (I had none)!

My car was valued at £8500. The insurers (AA) offered me about £3000 ! Took 4+ months of legal letters etc to get £8000 out of them ! Watch out...insurers will try they're best to give you the least ! No matter who you're with !

 

Unlikely to buy another Z - quite like the idea of buying a brand new (don't laugh) Smart car - OK OK, so it's got an engine 20% the size of the Z but, they're really nippy, don't rust and how many of you can get 60mpg out of your car ?
