Help pls-Two Automatic Twin Turbo Rad's - but ones different?

Just got a secondhand rad from AndyZ so I can get my Zed moveable.

But the rad I got from Andy is different slightly:

Here is the one from Andy - you can see the AT Cooler pipes on the left.

This is my old one:

As you can see it has a set of AT Cooler pipes on both sides.

Close up.

The manual has a pic of the type like I got from Andy:

So, anyone know why the difference? And would it matter?

Oh, also there doesnt seem to be any cracks of splits on my old one, Anybody have an idea where I can get the rad tested in SE London?

Thanks,

Trev

EDIT:

The one with one set of AT cooler pipes is marked with an 'S' my old one is marked with a 'P' (these are on the Calsonic label

The rad with the single cooler pipes is for a Japanese spec auto and the twin cooler pipes is for a UK spec auto.

Looks like your old rad is a UK spec that has had the in/out pipes linked (Your car is Jap IIRC). New one will be a direct replacement. Shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks guys,

I thought that maybe it, as the UK spec has a more dense Fin setup. Whereas the Jap spec fins are more spaced out.

Cheers,

The UK / Euro one has 17% more cooling than the Japanese spec one.

Since fitting a UK spec rad to my car I have noticed approx a 5 deg C drop in water temp (according to the Techtom).
