suppose this should be in the wanted section, but is needed because someone needs HELP, so therfore it should be in here too.

Anyways, ADAMR needs an ecu , his is duff and as he doesnt have access to this place till he gets to work tomorrow i'll put this post up to start the ball rolling. Basically he's after a manual ecu from a g/h (cant remember which)reg twin tubo. Anyone got one lying around.

OH by the way his car is black so obviously it will be the slower version of the ecu that hes after.

AndyZ will probably be your man.

What's wrong with AdamR's ecu ?

If its any use have access to full bench test facility designed for the 300zx ecu, can diagnose any internal component failure which can then be replaced and hence fix the ecu.

Found most failures to be with either the output triac for the second level board power or one of the many input diodes connected to again the on board power supply.

Unfortunately can`t help with a manual ecu at the moment but when you get fixed up could sort your broken ecu.

the fault is that the car wont stop, it keeps running with the ignition off.

We proved the point tonight by swapping mine and his ecu's over.

Not another one?! This mysterious running without ignition happened to mine (auto - but not the slow version), and also to John Dixons (manual, I think). Maybe there's a common(ish) failure?

AndyZ's got one:)

Hopefully I'll have it by Wednesday, so I can get the car set up before Billing....
