Excellent news fellow Z-sters - I finally got my car back from Polesworth! Got the radiator rebuilt and some of the clips on the fuel lines replace and all seems well with the beauty. The only critisism I had was that one of the mechanics must have hit the front spoiler on something as it is now cracked and paint chipping off. I have brought it to the manager's attention and they will work something out for me over the next week. Bastards!

Took the car over to Holland this morning (see what you mean about the forward facing purple cameras on the A14 toward Harwich). Not sure if I was done because I can never figure out what the legal speed limit is on dual carriage ways in this damned country (me is stupid foreigner after all ...) Had to throw out the dragging anchor a couple of times to bleed off my speed. Ferry crossing was okay - was worried about steep ramps and stuff but experienced non of that. However, when driving in The Netherlands, where it is just about as hot as in the UK, the engine's hessitation reappeared. Again, pickup from standstill is problematic. However, I've noticed it doesn't do it consistently. Could it be dirty throttle bodies? Idle seems okay-ish ... hovers between 600 and 900 rpms.

Anyway, I'll have a look tomorrow as I'm now spending some time with my family, most of whom I haven't seen in years!

Looks like you guys had a great time at the Billings show - wish I had come along ... Perhaps next time.

Cheers all, enjoy your evening.

Danny

Dan mate,

Hope your car is OK! Let us know how you are getting on with it...

Bit worrying though that you're still having the hesitation problems.
