Pinking at lo revs!!!!

Had a lovely drive from Bristol to Goodwood yesterday [ex day out] but last night she started to pink in 1st & 2nd at lo revs!!

any body no what this could be?

    If it's not done it before then most likely it's a poor batch of fuel on a hot day. What are you using and is your car Jap or UK ?
