Coming back from Coventry today down the M6, finally got a bit of open road between road works and speed cameras so i give it big licks down the fast lane. After about 2 miles i come upto 3 cars one in each lane and all doing the same bloody speed!!!!about 60mph. I don't like flashing so i decide to just wait and see if one finally manages to find their accelerator pedal and use it. After going past 2 junctions and now having a tail back behind me bigger than King Kongs first dump of the day, i flash and tell them to move over. The old bast*rd in the outer car looks over and calls me a ****er!I just about held myself back from a bit of road rage, so the question i'm wondering is...am i bad for doing this?

End of essay!

hell no mate, what the feck was he in the fast lane for.

I don;t mean to be rude but the fast lane in my opinion is for people going "FAST" if you are a slow driver the slow lane is for you, if you drive on the speed limit them it's the middle lane (unless there no cars in the slow lane) if you are over the speed limit them it's the Fast lane.

Discalimer: I break the speed limit when ever I get in my car and it'a safe to do so :D

You're a terrible, terrible person ;)

I hate flashing people up, but sometimes it's necessary. Obviously, it's better to do it earlier than later... and definitely better than sitting on the guys ass expecting him to move over - doing that makes some people stay in the same lane on principle. I think the best thing to do is come up on the guy at the speed limit and if it looks like he hasn't seen you give him a quick flash without slowing down. As you get nearer, they'll normally move over... it's not like you're driving a mondeo or somink, so you shouldn't get: I'm not moving over cos I've got a faster car than him.

A tricky one to judge sometimes, especially with grumpy old fart drivers. Just smile and wave... too much road-rage around already.

I stay in a lane until someone faster comes behind me and then I pull over, usually noone is faster than me ;)

the thing is that people use the motorway get in to the lane thay want and seat there to its there time to come of. like M25 3rd lane guy doing 65 mph next peson use 4th lane go,s 66mph past so the motorway becomes 2 F***ing lanes as no well under take them why do this!!!!!!! if there use the motorway as it is in the highway book then we have 2 lanes to over take...

I think I got that right had some beers....
