Okay Im considering upgrading my shocks, firstly the rears are creaking a bit therefore need replacement in my book ;) secondly Id like a bit more of a harder ride.

Who has what and what do you feel about them?

Well Mike,I have Koni shocks and Blitz springs and the ride is spot on;)car handles like a dream!

Hi Mike,

Tein HA adjustables all round (on the car when imported), very firm but good on smooth roads, still playing with damper settings to give acceptable ride quality on rougher roads without having bouncy handling...nearly there!

welcome to try it out if you like.

Cheerz guys :)

The Eibach springs and KYB AGX shocks from the write up appear to be exactly what I am looking for at a reasonable price. I'll investigate a bit more into the other ones though.

I guess I can take a closer look at toddington services for those of you taking the drive up on the sunday to billing :)

I am telling you, put a strut brace on, that really firms up the suspention.

This might sort it if the problem is down to the suspension towers rusting through and collapsing - a strut brace will keep the wheels upright for a few more days ;)

I dont think anything is going to collapse :) its sounds like a bed spring occasionly when hitting speed bumps ect, its a good excuse to upgrade :)

Have you had a good look around the back of your car? The creaking could be a truck thats been reversed into, still attached.... :D

I have Tokico adjustables all round and have been very happy with them. Adjustable for damping, but not springing that is. I stuck with standard springs. That basically brought things back into line because the original shocks were knackered. At the same time I installed the Suspension Techniques anti-sway (roll) bars and I think these made the greatest difference.

Strut braces, well maybe one day, when I can find some that fit correctly.
