I've spoken to a few companies about replacing the turbos on my car and most say its an engine out job. Is there any way to do the work with the engine in-situ?

Cheers.

Martin.

another one for our FAQ listings! :D

yes it is possible, the Nissan manual actually tells you to do it with the engine in!

BUT - its a right pig to get to them in situ by all accounts & time wise its probably the same!

good luck! :)

Most places are now favouring keeping the engine in as the loom is old and brittle, moving it too much could damage it.

Darren does them in situ for exactly this reason!
