hi folks,

getting conflicting prices for a cat back powerflow zorst with 4 x exits. Quoted from a powerflow garage yesterday £852.00 PLUS vat!!! Done many searches on here and it seems the normal is 300-500, know of a n/a which had full system from manifold back with cats removed for £800.00.

Questioned garage and he said thw quote was normal, and anyone spending £300 for cat back must be buying $hit, but if its powerflow how can it be???

anyone had a cat back powerflow fitted, and approx how much, i don't mind travelling but im getting the feeling im being ripped off???

thanks.

What!! £852, it must be gold plated?! i had a full powerflow exhaust from manifolds back for £500 excluding VAT and its looks to be good enough quality to me.

I would try phoning a few other Powerflow dealers and and get a more realistic quote.

Hi Vicky,

The quote you have been given seems highly unrealistic to me. For this price you can go for a full HKS Sports Titanium exhaust  (and that is included Vat:D ).

The normal price should be in the region of £500 (all in) from Powerflow.

I got the two boxes from a place called Top Gear (Powerflow dealer) in West Bromwich for £300. When I took it in I dodn't know if it just needed the boxes, or everything else too, but they quoted me £450 all in, from cat back.

This seems about right Blue. £800 is a rip-off

Hmmmm that's £1001 inc VAT!

Must be an amazing exhaust!

I got mine made up by JP Exhausts for about £450 for full stainless cat back with whatever tailpipes you want and it's superb.

They have done systems for quite a few Z's through GPS.

Give Johnny a call.

fanx folks, I KNEW the $hit saw me and thought 'hmmmm, lets make some cash' have sent a message to powerflow hq requesting a 'reputable' dealer in my area, hoping they may ring the twat up and give him hell. Please bear in mind this quote was for cat back ONLY not full system, AND he saw the zed, so no confusion there me thinks!!!

no they dont do powerflow but they do make quality systems at your specifications or requirements and are not too expensive..

they also deal in aftermarket or universal turbos and repairs..there number is listed in the thomson blue and at http://www.yell.com and i think at bt directory enquiries at http://www.bt.com..

My TT has a powerflow exhaust which was fitted in Feb this year. Price was £470 fitted. Can't remember if that inlcuded VAT but will check.

Hope this helps.

Martin.
