Had cause to remove the rear spoiler on the Z. It was rotting away and had lost most of its paint so it was time for a new one.

I chose a new Stillen number which stands on pedistals so it was off with the old. After removing the bolts and gently sliding a thin blade all the way under as carefuly as posible I eased the six fixing clips away and with much pulling and tugging it came away. Only to find that some butcher had previously extracted it with a shovel and an axe. The top of the tail gate looks like the Alpes only with no snow on them.

So its a big thank you to the last owner or may be the one before, looks like I have some work to do before Billing

Oh on the good side the perspex replacement panel fitted perfect and the brake light shines really bright so I'm well pleased with that.

Sorry to go on but I got no one else to winge to!

Till the next tim... Chris.

Stillen type 3 ?

Good choice mate ! :D

just to warn you though (if your Z's a 2+2 that is) you're also gonna have to spend some time modifying the legs to fit. The wing's actually designed for the 2 seater !

Looks and works a treat when it's on right though ! :D

Yes your right its a 2+2, and yes you do have to mod the legs but it must be worth it.

How did you know it was a type 3?

Its the first one in the country with the carbon fiber top panel,

or so I'm told. It goes with the full Stillen body kit just fitted.

You can see some of it on Stu's post under Essex meet pictures.

'fraid not - it's just a single picture I found when trawling the web looking for spoilers. It's why I chose Stillen myself though ! :)

Hi konrad

I think it looks really good in the picture, but I see its on a 2+0

just hope it will look as good on my 2+2.

So what kit did you go for? and on what car?

Haven't settled on a set of side skirts that I like yet, but here it is as it stands.

Not got any pictures of the spoiler from the rear quarter, I'm afraid. Somwhow I don't think you'll be disappointed though ;)

sorry Nigel but there's some people who have no taste and then there are the rest of us...

As for the car in the picture thats mine and to my knowledge it's the only one in the country with that type of spoiler

It's a Stillen Type III and it is verry functional. I'm suer if you had anything other than the stock flip you would appreciate that!
