Ok we've had the mud slinging about how we can't have a bit of banter blah blah blah...

Now see it from my side will ya?

All you fvcks who come on here with your 30 or so posts, telling us where the site should be heading etc etc should maybe sit back and think for a second. What do you get from the site? Well firstly you get 100% free, good advice (unless its SRRAE advising :D). You don't know many people on here so can't join in with the usual laugh. IF, in the beginning, we all kept it to tech only, we'd have got NOWHERE!!!

I enjoy helping people on here out and trying to solve their problems for them, I really do. BUT I am NOT going to hang around on here for any longer if thats all I can come here to do. You get your free tech advice etc, I get what I want - can't say fairer than that? Or have I got it wrong?

Its up to you, tbh I don't want to be a part of a free loader society if thats all it offers. I'm bored of posts about "what oil should I put in my TT", "Where can I get insurance?", "Whats the best place for tyres", "Where do I put my washer fluid"... you get the picture.

So I had a laugh and now the finger is quite clearly pointing in my direction (no not purely me but its quite obvious). Completely fvcked off with it all now and not quite sure what I'm gonna do.....

Hope I aint upset ya !

Regarding the repetitive posts you mention, we NEED a Technical FAQ adding to the site or a clear (and I mean CLEAR, or ppl simply ask the question) link to this info on other sites IMHO. then there will be more room for laughs as u say !;)

My thoughts on the subject:

Yes we do need a Technical FAQ (I thought this was being compiled? Heck we could have a few polls as to which is the best Oil, pads, tyres etc), and I agree, 'Search IS your friend'

I'm also for having a laugh. (id hate for this to turn into the Supra Forum :D:D:D)

I don't think it's too fiendly to new users if they post, and get a reply of 'Do a search, retard'.

I work in IT, do I get annoyed if people ask questions I think are stupid? Nope.

Just don't read them, and keep the silly stuff out of the technical forum, and remember, censorship=bad :D:D:D

Mike

Andy......you can handle a little finger maybe pointing in your direction!!??

Carry on regardless mate! I do like a laugh and a wind-up myself and will continue to do so. :D (and to do it in the correct section is no big deal!)

Hey Duffman,

I hear what your saying regarding the 'no-brainer' queries which pop up time and time again - I guess it can be annoying. But, I reckon you're ALWAYS going to get these because I think that people who want advice about their Z just want it as quick as possible and are fundamentally lazy about it. They see a 'Help and Advice' forum and think 'Great, I'll just post something there - someone will know the answer'. The FAQs and Search links are not even noticed - it seems only the more 'web-aware' people or experienced forum users use these facilities without being prompted.

If we had a Technical FAQ, most if not all newbie users will still post duh-duh questions I reckon

Just another cactus in the pyjama-bottoms of life....

Andy just turn sideways and no one will be able to sling mud or point their finger at you.:D

LOL roy. Chris, I really don't mind the no-brainers popping up all the time - they were simply my comparrison to what other people don't like. Yes they get on my nerves sometimes but I understand and just don't read them. I don't go complaining about them (until now). So why do other people complain when I have a laugh? We all get something different from the site...

WTF????? How can you dismiss me in such a cruel fashion?

I AM Duff and Craigs love child from .........erm.......31 years ago!

dont worry about it me old duff buddy;)

im sure we can still have a laugh & keep the tech questions answered :D

andyduff stop complaining, honestly, go take your dog for a walk, BWAHAHAHAHA:D

Andy,

I put my hand up to all the above, making a comment about the mad friday, asking some of the no-brainer questions, all of that.

Hopefully I have got past the no-brainers and got to the point where I can answer some of them for others, which I try to do (reap what you sow and all that)

The only comment I made about the mad friday was its location, if you think I am out of order for that, then I put my hands up to that also. My reason for making that point was that if a question is asked and for some reason it is pushed onto the second page, it can be missed or forgotten about and that can be frustrating. But , as I say, if I am wrong, I am wrong.:(

Hugh,

Like I said above, I really don't mind the no brainers. Don't forget threads with new posts have an icon on the left so you can't really miss any posts. Mad friday really was all it was - a friday afternoon where everyone went mad. We had a laugh then let the H&A get back to business...

Anyway, happy days....

AndyDuff if you fix that red 200sx then suddenly your life will get much better and everyfink.
