I know you are all proberbly fed up with this subject. But it is time to put the zed on the road and I am finding it really hard to find a company that will quote me on an import at all and thats before I tell them about the dr10. Have done a search and read lots of previous posts, rang suggested companies and most do not cover imports now. Can anyone who has just renewed insurance on an import, or is about to, suggest a company to try.

One of those numbers is their specialist vehicle section at Thatcham but I can't remeber which is which stored on my mobile!

They do imports and were the cheapest for me.

Direct line do mine, best i could find, £722 fully comp 26 year old J spec no mods, demand tracker though (mental note must get one as if it gets nicked im buggered at the mo).

 

As for convictions i know where youre comming from, when i got mine back i had 2 X DD40's, 2 X CD10's and some others, 2 claims, 2 bans, and had to pay £1300 tpft on a group 3 1.2 nova.

DOH!!!! That was a typo I meant to type porsche 911 turbo, sometimes my fingers overtake my brain!!!;)

Thanks for the help lads got some quotes, aplan £729 with 450 excess and £647.85 with 650 excess from direct line both fully comp and declairing the dr10 so a lot better than some of the quotes I have had. Tracker is already fitted so that saves a few quid apart from the £120 a year you have to pay to keep it active

Thanks once again got a quote off Kieth Micheals cheapest so far at £610 and 500 excess with everything declared. By the way that is fully comp, very helpful as well.
